The short version. Random Noodle has no accounts and no sign-ups. The numbers you generate are created in your browser and are never sent to us or stored anywhere. The site does show advertising, and those adverts use cookies — that part is explained in full below.
Who runs this site
Random Noodle (randomnoodle.com) is operated by an individual based in Australia. Questions about this policy can go to hello@randomnoodle.com.
Information you give us
None, unless you email us. There is no account to create, no newsletter, and no form on the site that asks for your details.
If you do email hello@randomnoodle.com, we'll have your email address and whatever you wrote in the message. That's used only to reply to you. It isn't added to any mailing list and isn't passed to anyone else.
The numbers you generate
Your minimum, your maximum and the result are handled entirely inside your own browser. They are not transmitted to our servers, not written to a database, and not saved on your device after you close the page. We could not tell you what number you got, because we never had it.
Advertising and cookies
This site is free because it carries advertising. Adverts on Random Noodle are served by Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve adverts based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve adverts to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info, or through the Network Advertising Initiative.
- Third-party advertising vendors may place cookies on pages of this site that we do not control and cannot read. Their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. Google's is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Depending on where you are in the world, you may be shown a consent notice before personalised adverts are used. Your choice there is passed to the advertising partners and can be changed at any time through the same notice.
Analytics
Basic, aggregated visitor statistics may be collected to understand how many people use the site and which pages they land on. This is counted at the level of totals and trends. It is not used to build a profile of you and is not sold or shared.
Server logs
Like virtually every website, the hosting provider that serves these pages keeps standard access logs — the requested page, the time, a browser identifier and an IP address. These are generated automatically, used for security and troubleshooting, and retained by the host for a limited period. They aren't used to identify individual visitors.
Children
Random Noodle is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, please contact us and it will be deleted.
Your choices and rights
Since the site holds no account and no stored results, there is very little of yours for us to hold, correct or delete. What you can do:
- Turn off personalised advertising using the Google and industry opt-out links above.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. The generator will continue to work normally.
- Ask us to delete any email correspondence you've sent, by writing to hello@randomnoodle.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California or another region with specific data protection rights, those rights apply to the limited information described above, and requests can be made to the same address.
Links to other sites
Adverts and occasional links may take you to sites we don't run. This policy covers Random Noodle only; once you land somewhere else, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes to how information is handled will be summarised here rather than slipped in quietly.
